What’s the “buzz” on value?

I’ve been going onto this site, fatwallet.com for almost a year now, just to grab a code so I can earn points to bid for prizes on a local radio station’s website. This radio station had a program where you sign up and each morning they have a keyword. You enter the keyword onto your online account to earn points. I would have to listen at a certain time every day to get the code. It got to the point where I had a network of friends who would email the code. That was a relief, I didn’t have to be stuck listening to the radio station to get the code. Then one of my friends found a forum where all the radio listeners would post the codes online. (I love the internet!) And this website is fatwallet.com.

I had a bit more time today, or maybe I was just procrastinating to do some work. I found that this site has so much to offer. Not only does it have a section for all kinds of forums, it offers finance tips and links to get free stuff. I signed up just today to get a free mug, it told me that it would take 4-6 weeks. Let’s see what happens.

It has a section where you can print out coupons for groceries, food, and supplies. Let’s say, you know you had a Staples coupon around, but just can’t find it. You want to get $25 off $100 spent. Well, easy, go onto this site and there will be a section where someone has posted that coupon. All you have to do is click and print.

I could spend hours learning of hot deals, travel deals, free stuff, contests & sweepstakes, rebates & coupons, and all kinds of stuff. I even browsed through some forum that shared that Starbuck’s will give you free refills on brewed coffee if you register your Starbuck’s card. Not sure how true it is because you have to remember that these are forums. I’m sure other people will confirm information on the forums as well.
